Soft tissue therapy in Bracknell and Wokingham

Hands-on support for recovering from injury or surgery

You're through the worst of it and cleared to move on, but not yet back to feeling like yourself. Careful, progressive treatment supports your body to do what it already knows how to do.

You might recognise this

Sound familiar?

Stiffness or guarding around an old injury or operation site, once it has healed
A joint or limb that still feels unfamiliar or unsure
Favouring one side, so other areas take extra load
Not quite trusting your body again
Tension in the muscles around where it happened
What's often behind it

It's usually more than the sore spot

After an injury or an operation your body protects itself. Sometimes it keeps protecting after it needs to: muscles guard, movement patterns change, and other areas pick up the load.

I treat what's holding on, and help you rebuild confidence in movement with steps that are realistic for where you are.

Clearance. I work once your surgeon, GP or physio has cleared you for hands-on treatment. Tell me about any restrictions or guidance you were given, and I'll work within them.
Your first session

The Foundation Session: two hours, £99

Everyone starts here. It's long enough to work out why, and to start putting it right.

  1. I ask, then I assess

What happened, what you've been told and what you're aiming for. Then I check how you move and where you're compensating.

  2. I treat with care

Progressive hands-on work, adapted to what your tissue can take, within any guidance from your medical team.

  3. You leave with a plan

Clear next steps, including exercises only where they help, and how we'll know it's working.

At your home or at Wokingham Therapy Clinic. No obligation to book anything after it.

Reviews

What clients say

I wasn't convinced it would be any different from the massages and stretches I'd already tried, but I was wrong. Rebecca took the time to figure out what was causing the problem. The treatment and a simple home plan have eased pain I'd had for years.
Carol, 64Pain she'd had for years
Rebecca didn't just treat my pain, she worked out why it was there. The session felt focused, purposeful and very different from anything I'd had before.
MarieArden client
Rebecca combined targeted treatment with easy exercises I could actually stick to. It worked far better than I expected, and I'm running comfortably again.

Questions

Before you book

When can I start?

Once your surgeon, GP or physio has cleared you for hands-on treatment. If you're unsure, ask them, or message me first.

How many sessions will I need?

I can't promise a number, because it depends on you and how your body responds. After your first session we'll have a much better idea, and there's no obligation to book more.

Will it hurt?

Some techniques can feel intense on tight areas, but pain is never the goal. I check in as we go, and you're always in control of the pressure.

Do you come to me?

Yes, or you can choose Wokingham Therapy Clinic when you book. I cover Bracknell, Wokingham, Crowthorne, Sandhurst, Binfield, Warfield and Ascot.
